Project Summary

PACKERS PLUS MX MANUFACTURING FACILITY

Packers Plus MX Manufacturing Centre is the largest Packers Plus manufacturing center worldwide; Packers Plus “provides solutions for technically challenging applications in horizontal, vertical, multi-lateral and high pressure / high temperature (HPHT) wells”.  The MX Manufacturing Centre is comprised of nearly 200,000 SF, and contains office space, shipping and receiving, and manufacturing space; this innovative facility includes the world’s first robotic assembly of its type which incorporates a “proprietary traceability method” developed by Packers Plus which helps to facilitate an automatic racking system. The MX Facility was designed to addresses the changing requirements of a diverse workforce, and includes bright, colorful windows, hallways are laid out to mimic the jagged, asymmetrical lines of a frac, a full gym facility, and a recreation area.

Arrow’s Mechanical and Electrical teams contributed to the overall design of the MX Facility and worked through the design of the mechanical components of the manufacturing facility, coordinating with the contractor and the ownership group to ensure that the vision for this cutting-edge facility was met. This project was complex and technically demanding, and required significant coordination amongst all team members.
