We are pleased to announce that for the second year running, Arrow has landed on the ZweigWhite ‘Hot Firms List’. Coming in at 54th place, Arrow is ranked amongst the most rapidly-growing A/E firms in North America. It feels like just yesterday that we celebrated the holiday season, yet suddenly, here we are again. As we reflect on the past year, and enjoy time spent with friends and family, we are keenly aware of how very fortunate we are. At Arrow, we believe we are all a part of something bigger than ourselves; it is in this spirit that we continuously strive to give back to our communities, and to those in need.

Over the past year, we’ve been privileged to give back in a variety of ways to numerous charitable organizations, and causes which are near to the hearts of our team members, families, and friends. These contributions have taken the form of donations in-kind, monetary donations, the gift of time and other initiatives

In lieu of gifts, we traditionally donate to select organizations whom we feel contribute meaningfully to our communities, and to individuals in need. This year, we’re proud to announce that we’ve committed substantial in-kind donations to Wellspring Edmonton, and to the Edmonton Opera, along with monetary contributions to Little Warriors, Habitat for Humanity, ALS Canada, and upwards of 40 additional organizations and causes.

The Christmas spirit is alive and well within our offices. In keeping with one of our favorite holiday traditions, our Edmonton team recently gathered to participate in a gift exchange and donation to Santa’s Anonymous, giving the joy of Christmas to families and children in need. Our Calgary office has elected to contribute to two local charities,  the Boys and Girls Club of Calgary, benefiting at-risk youth,  and Inn From the Cold, a local family shelter. Our team in Saskatoon has chosen to donate funds to the Saskatoon Food Bank, in order to feed those in need, throughout the year.

The leadership team at Arrow recognizes that our success is dependent on the contributions of our valued team members, colleagues and clients. We’re truly humbled by the loyalty of those who support our team, and by the contributions of our dedicated team members.

We offer you our most sincere thanks, and wish you and your loved ones peace, joy and prosperity this holiday season, and in the year to come. Merry Christmas!

Arrow Joins the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Though we normally shy away from bandwagons, we were ready to jump on board the ‘ALS Ice Bucket Challenge’ when Arrow President, Greg Burghardt, and VP Operations, Paul Burdett, were nominated. Arrow Employees rallied together to raise funds, under the condition that with a minimum of $1,000 raised, Greg and Paul would not only match donations, but let the Arrow team subject them to a group dousing. Not surprisingly, funds were raised in short order.

In total, Arrow Employees raised $1,250; combined with the contributions of Greg and Paul, $2, 500 has been submitted to ALS Canada on behalf of the Arrow team.

At Arrow, we believe it is our responsibility to give back to the communities in which we live, work, and play. As always, we encourage our industry colleagues to join in supporting important causes, like ALS Research.
